Domekleener (Davnick Limited) was formed in 2010 by David Brinkley and Nick Starling.
Through his company Centra Security, David had just completed a large security installation of CCTV and Alarms and had been asked by the client to provide a method for keeping the cameras clean between routine servicing schedules…
Finding nothing available in the UK, he decided to try and solve the problem himself. Through a mutual business acquaintance he was introduced to Nick Starling, a Product Design Consultant (NJS Designs) and between them they formed Domekleener (Davnick Limited), a company set up solely to design and manufacture a tool for cleaning Dome Cameras.
Five major criteria had to be met:
- Simple to use
- Lightweight
- Robust/Durable
- Maintenance free
- Operator/Engineer proof!
After 2 years of development, the Domekleener was created and successfully patented.
It was decided that no compromises would be made on the quality of materials used and therefore, in order to be able to offer the Domekleener at an affordable price, it would only be made to order and sold directly – no middlemen!
